教學過程：
（一）熱身／複習（Warm-up/Revision）
1. Sing a song
教師放錄音〔使用本套教材第一冊Unit 5, Let’s sing/A部分〕，師生一起唱歌曲“Let’s have
a picnic today”.
2. Listen and do
教師發佈口令，學生聽到之後做出相應的動作。（可藉助於學生自己的單詞卡）
Pour the water.
Smell the coffee.
Taste the tea.
Show me the milk.
Drink the juice.
Cut the bread.
Make the cake.
Eat the hot dog.
Show me the hamburger.
Smell the chicken.
Make the cake.
Pass me the French fries.
（二）呈現新課 （Presentation）
1. 教師出示Let’s learn部分的掛圖，讓學生說出圖上食物和飲料的名稱。教師指圖，然後越指越快，學生要迅速地說出被指食物和飲料的名稱。此項活動也可由學生輪流完成。
2. 導入新單詞。教師與學生進行會話：
T: So many foods and drinks. I like hamburger. Do you like it?
S: Yes, I do./No, I don’t.
T: What do you like?
S: I like …
教師指着圖片soup和vegetable問學生：Do you like soup/vegetable?讓學生兩人一組用
上述句型進行對話。並教讀單詞soup和vegetable。教學中要特別注意vegetable的發音。
3. 教師做飢餓狀：I’m hungry. Can I have some rice, please? 讓學生聽懂之後，到黑板上取下相對應的圖片給教師：Sure. Here you are. 教師說：Thank you.
4. 讓學生使用自己的學習卡片，模仿着來做這組對話。（可與Let’s play部分相結合）

5. 聽錄音，跟讀單詞和對話。
6. 教師出示單詞卡，讓學生認讀單詞。
7. 教師指着黑板上的圖片說: Look! Everything’s ready. I’d like some rice and fish for dinner.
What would you like ? 引導學生說出：I’d like some… and…
（三）趣味操練 （Practice）
1. The food and drink game
把食物和飲料的卡片貼在教室的不同地方，卡片之間保持一定的距離。教師對學生說：“Chicken”。所有的學生必須走向單詞卡chicken 。重複以上步驟，直到練習完所有單詞。
2. 猜一猜，說一說
讓一位學生站在教室前面，將自己喜歡的食品的卡片放在背後，大家猜他喜歡的是哪種食品。猜的學生說：“Rice”，如果沒猜中，站在前面的學生說：“No .”如果猜中了，站在前面的學生說：“Yes .”猜中的學生站在前面，大家繼續猜。
3. What is missing ?
把本單元的單詞卡片放在地板或桌子上，學生圍着卡片坐一圈，以便能看清圖片。教師指卡片，讓學生說食物或飲料的名稱。讓學生背對卡片，教師將一張卡片抽出，放在自己背後。學生轉過來，觀察卡片，說出被抽出卡片的名稱。教師向學生展示被抽的卡片，肯定或否定他們的答案。讓學生4—5人爲一小組做遊戲。一個學生將自己的一套卡片放在桌子上，抽出一張，其他學生猜一猜被抽出的卡片。
（四）擴展性活動（Add-activities）
讓學生表演三人短劇。其中兩個學生是朋友，他們在食品店中見面，要買食品。另一個人是售貨員，在賣東西。
1. 教師引導學生回憶所學過的打招呼的話語：Hello, Hi .
2. 告訴學生，買東西的人要說出他們喜歡的食物，如：I like (ice-cream ) 。
3. 買東西的人要對售貨員說：Can I have some …, please?
4. 扮演售貨員的學生要說：Sure. Here you are. 並假裝遞給他們所要的食物。
5. 買東西的學生要問：How much?
6. 賣東西的學生要根據每樣東西的價籤，告訴對方實際的價格。
7. 買東西的人付錢時可象徵性地拍一下對方的手。並要謝謝售貨員，引出詞組：Thank you .
8. 給學生時間讓他們練習，讓每個學生都有機會表演。
9. 讓各小組佈置自己的情景（如：用課桌當櫃檯，用卡片代替食品），排練話劇。
10. 鼓勵學生在全班同學面前表演短劇。

教學過程：
（一）熱身／複習（Warm-up/Revision）
1. 讓學生聽錄音，說歌謠“Dinner time”.[使用第一冊Unit 5 Let’s chant部分]
2. 做遊戲Do you like …?
將畫有所學食物和飲料的卡片放在一個帽子或盒子裏面。將這個帽子或盒子放在講臺上。教師讓一位學生到講臺前，抽出一張卡片（如：juice）。這位學生看過卡片後，要記住卡片上的食物是他／她喜歡的食品。然後，將卡片放在講臺內。讓其他學生問：Do you like…?如果其他學生猜得不對，這個學生要回答No。如果其他學生猜對了，這個學生要回答Yes. I like juice.並出示剛纔抽出的卡片。猜對了的學生到前面來，繼續這個遊戲。
（二）呈現新課 （Presentation）
1. 教師在黑板上畫一個鐘，時間指向6：30，教師說：Wow! It’s 6: 30. It’s time for dinner. I’m hungry! I’d like some rice and vegetable. What would you like for dinner?
2. 一個學生回答完之後，讓其他學生像這樣做連鎖問答：What would you like? I’d like…
3. 教師通過圖片導入課文：Look at these pictures. Who are in this pictures? What are they talking about?
4. 教師讓學生看教學掛圖。
5. 請學生回答問題：
What would Mike like for dinner?
What would Mike’s mother like for dinner?
6. 讓學生看課文聽錄音。
7. 請學生解釋Wait and see. Everything’s ready.的意思。
8. 聽錄音跟讀課文。
9. 三人一組做課文對話表演。
10. 觀看掛圖，給人物配音。
11. 教學生新單詞breakfast, lunch, supper. 鼓勵學生用這些詞模仿課文自編新對話。
12. 讓學生到前面表演對話，進行評比。
（三）趣味操練 （Practice）
1. 單詞對抗賽
將全班分成若干小組，對抗賽在兩個小組中進行，在教師宣佈遊戲開始後，第一組的第一名學生立即用中文說出一個單詞(如：自行車)，第一組的第二名學生應立即將這個單詞說出來，說錯或不能迅速說出單詞的記負分，最後哪組扣分最少爲優勝。
2. 缺了什麼？
這是訓練學生記憶力的遊戲。教師出示一些實物，放在講臺上，讓上來猜的學生先看半分鐘，然後背向講臺面向學生站立，再讓另一位學生上來取走一樣東西。然後說：“Pease guess what is missing?”猜的學生要在10秒鐘內用英語把缺的東西說出來。
