We seven boys share the dormitory 2110. Every morning we get up at 6 o’clock. Sometimes one or two boys may wake up a little later. After washing， we go to the playground to do morning exercise.
At night， after the self-teaching classes， we go back to the dormitory. Some roommates enjoy singing loudly before the lights go out， some enjoy sharing their snacks and drinks with others， some go to bed early， and others read books or listen to the pop music late. We often tell jokes in the dormitory. The room is always full of cheers and laughter.
On the evening of Oct.18th， the Chinese national football team got their place in the World Cup. It’s the first time for our Chinese team. The Chinese people have dreamed of it for 44 years. Second， many of the young addicts turned for the first time to drugs for escape either from their failure in the national entrance exams or from their parents’ breakup. And above all， our education in the harmfulness of drugs has been far from adequate to build teenagers’ sound resistance to drugs. To sum up， the causes mentioned above must call for more of our concern， and effective measures should be taken to check the trend.
Obviously the drastic change will exert great impact on inziduals and the whole society.
For one thing， drug-taking does great damage to the health of drug users.. For another， some drug users commit robbery or even murder their parents and relatives to get money to buy drugs， which poses a great threat to the social security and the social stability. Therefore， it is high time we did something to put an end to this trend.

After I finished high school, although that story like most of my writings ended up unfinished and stayed in the bottom of my desk drawers, I enjoyed and made fun of my writings when I read them later. I have been always thinking why we couldn’t take our dreams into our own hands.
