He waits and lady on the phone is just talking seems as if she doesn't notice Frank. After about half an hour,the lady puts down the k feels a bit released. She is finished finally,he thinks. But to his surprise,the lady picks it up again,fishes a coin from her pocket and pushes it into the slot."Oh, no!"Frank says to himself."She is making another call."

整整四個月之前，我來了。那是一個充滿驚喜的十一月，而你，是我得到的第一個驚喜。我的包裹裏裝着我唯一的英語，我極小心地看護着它，生怕這樣的變遷與顛簸，讓我一直以來的安慰在不知不覺之間離開了我。最初的那幾天，我竭力想要抓住機會，儘管沒能最充分地表現自己，但是你仔細地注意到了我，用你的經驗很快讀懂了我，並主動地給予我安慰，和久違的安全感。

無容置疑，你意識到了英語對我的重要性，作爲一個人人都尊敬、人人都有點怕的老師，你並沒有用你的力量輕而易舉地使我對你產生畏懼的心理，而是主動接近我，一點點揭開遮住我視線的厚厚的陌生，在我做得不夠完美而感到不安失落的時候，微笑並體諒我。

而你也有嚴肅的時候。當我扣了不該扣的分數，你會突然出現在我面前，顯示出那種令人畏懼的神色厲聲呵責。當我面對發生的'這一切立在你面前不知所措時，你就會飛快地一改臉色，哈哈地放聲笑起來，笑過之後，摸一摸我的額頭，輕聲告訴我沒關係。

也許我還是太小？我總是焦慮，在考試之前總是想一些甚至會起到反作用的東西。以前的時候，可以在考試之後靜靜地等。但是現在，卷子剛剛交上去，就會被一些所謂的佼佼者圍住喋喋不休，其中不乏恭維或者不懷好意的寒暄，讓等待的僅僅幾個小時的時間變得難熬，讓我覺得愧疚，覺得難以忍受。

課上我把卷子攤開，目不轉睛地看着紅線密集的地方，你從我的身後走過來，用勁地點着我的卷子，手指敲在桌子上發出很大的聲音。我坐在椅子上縮在一角，聽着你嚴厲的“看看……看看……這是怎麼了！”我托住頭，你把卷子從桌上拿起來，站在旁邊靜靜地仔細地分析，然後放下來看着我，仔細地說出評判標準和我的不足。我放鬆了一些，小心翼翼連比帶劃地說出自己的錯因。你突然笑起來，對呀，對呀，你衝我呵呵地笑。

一整天的嗟嘆。爲了那些失分，爲了你給我的英語。
